We propose the development of National Trust Stream, an integrated digital membership platform that combines immersive virtual access with interactive on-site engagement. The platform functions as a hybrid ecosystem that extends the National Trust experience beyond physical boundaries while simultaneously enhancing engagement within its parks and heritage properties. Rather than positioning digital and physical experiences as substitutes, the initiative strategically integrates both into one unified membership structure.
National Trust Stream is delivered through a subscription-based mobile application. Members gain access to 360-degree virtual tours of parks and historic properties, allowing users to explore landscapes and heritage sites remotely through immersive, high-resolution environments. In addition, the platform offers live and on-demand "Slow Nature" streams, enabling users to experience seasonal changes, wildlife activity, and natural soundscapes in real time.
